We’re thrilled about your interest in joining our church family. Church membership is a significant step in the Christian journey, offering opportunities for mutual service, encouragement, and accountability.
Why Membership Matters:
- It’s an avenue to vote, lead, and teach.
- It fosters mutual relationships, as highlighted by the “one another” verses in the New Testament.
- Joining signifies a commitment to the Mt. Carmel family, showing a desire for mutual encouragement, accountability, and love.
Membership Requirements:
- Repenting of sin, trusting in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and having been baptized by immersion.
- Completion of the 5-week church membership class, which is a deep dive into our church covenant. The class is offered every month with 5 Sundays at 10 AM in the sanctuary.
- Affirmation of the church covenant. Read Here

After Joining, We Encourage You To:
- Attend – Be part of our Sunday School Class at 10 AM to deepen your understanding and fellowship.
- Serve – Utilize your unique gifts to contribute to our church’s growth. Discover your spiritual gifts by taking a test on our website here or indicate your interest via the bulletin tear-off panel.
- Pray – Join us every Wednesday night at 6 PM as we gather with the Mt. Carmel family to seek God’s power and guidance for our church.
