NextGen
Birth through young adulthood.
NextGen is how Mt. Carmel describes the whole of its work with the next generation, from the nursery to the year a young adult leaves for good. Three stages, one aim.
Rev. Thomas Lawrence
Thomas oversees all three stages below, and discipleship and evangelism for the whole congregation.
Children, birth to fifth grade
To lay the foundation of a life of faith in and service to Jesus Christ, through Bible memory, regular Gospel presentation and basic Bible teaching.
Youth, sixth to twelfth grade
To prepare students for adulthood and a life of faith and service to Jesus Christ in His church, through thorough Bible study, service projects and regular fellowship.
Young adults, 18 to 25
To launch followers of Christ into active participation in God’s kingdom, through regular Bible study and fellowship, outreach to local colleges, and the expectation of service within the church body.
